I have always believed that happiness comes to us in small ways… just think of the smell of fresh toast with butter melting gently into it, the way the sun sparkles on a new leaf, the sound of gently lapping waves, a hug from your best friend or the delights of chocolate…
These are all small joys which we often rush past in our busy modern lives.
Learning to find the small joys in every day and hold onto their message is a way to find peace and happiness in every day - even days that challenge us. “Big happiness” is rare and hard to come by but I believe we can find love in the small bites of happiness that come by us every day. Feel the sun on your face and the breeze on your arms… enjoy the small wonderful moments.
I try to capture this elusive joy in my art and bring positivity and light to my customers.
I was a graphic designer for more than 20 years and have always found joy in art and design. My botanical watercolour paintings have been exhibited and won awards from the Botanical Art Society of Australia. Now I combine the knowledge of design with the freedom of painting for myself and clients.
I live in the beautiful city of Sydney in Australia and my art often reflects my love of the nature that surrounds me and the unique colours and light of where I live.
